This SummerSlam is going to be killer. SmackDown’s WWE Championship match is being held between Jinder Mahal and Shinsuke Nakamura. These two were not even on the card almost three years back. Nakamura fought first time at Backlash 2017 and on the same night Jinder Mahal defeated the champion Randy Orton and become first time WWE champion.
Jinder Mahal is an Indian resident and a tough fighter. The modern-day Maharaja, 31-year-old WWE champion showed up late and changed his character dramatically. He has tricks to win the game and improving his game day by day. Losing his Championship at SummerSlam may ruin him badly. By SummerSlam, he will have held WWE Championship for three months. In that three months, he faced the big name, Randy Orton. So, it would be very comfortable for him to beat Nakamura. This is the real chance for Mahal to shine.
On the other side, Nakamura defeated John Cena in a No. 1 contender’s match for the Championship. Nakamura was picked up by WWE from NXT as a star attraction. His presence and fan following made him stand out. He is an inspiration for the pro wrestlers in Japan and Asia. Although he debuted very late he found such huge fame that is never easy for someone in any case. There is no doubt Nakamura is far more talented than Mahal. But he will get his name in the championship lists sooner or later.
Predictions about the Match
The two men are the toughest and physical on their day. It would not be fair to name one of them. It does depend on the interest of people. There is no doubt Shinsuke Nakamura has a big amount of followers than Mahal. So chances on the basis of that particular point, Shinsuke would be the winner. But can he walk out as a champion? There is a possibility that Baron Corbin may cash in his money in the bank contract and walk out as a champion. That would be the only result that defines the controversy between Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin. That would be very horrifying for Nakamura.
SummerSlam 2017 will give new directions to Corbin or Nakamura’s New Era. Things would be more interesting and horrifying after SummerSlam. Where will go Mahal’s career after SummerSlam if he loses? We are gonna get all the answers after SummerSlam.
