WWE is crowded with A+ talent that deserves a chance at a title and space so they can show the world their talent. With a sea of wrestlers doing nothing important at the moment, here comes a wicked idea that can save a few careers. I will explain you how adding a Trios Championship to the WWE can be introduce some passion, save careers, earn them money and be the missing piece of the puzzle WWE is looking for.
AAA, CMLL, NJPW and even Lucha Underground have a Trios Division that adds spark to their roster and programs. The ratings in WWE are lowering weekly (with a few exceptions) and most of the time they are using the main event wrestlers to open the programming. What if WWE use the first segment of each program and dedicate it to a new division? If they work it properly, this can be the spark they are missing. Having Trios matches to open their programs will add speed, surprise factor and will keep the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats. Just imagine a matches between The Shield (Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins), The Wyatt Family (Harper, Rowan and Wyatt), The New Day (Kingston, Langston and Woods), The Miztourage (Axel, Dallas and Miz), Titus World Wide (Crews, O’Neil and Tozawa), Balor Club (Anderson, Balor and Gallows) and even Sanity (Dain, Wolfe and Young). You can create new teams with the wrestlers you already have in the main roster and give the chance to veterans like Dolph Ziggler, Heath Slater, Curt Hawkins, Sami Zayn, Tye Dillinger, Zack Ryder, Goldust, Sin Cara, Kalisto, Konnor, Viktor and even James Ellsworth. This way, you can free space in the Tag Team division so teams like Breezango, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, The Revival and The Hardys can push the Tag Team division to another level.
You can even create invasion angle storyline with the UK Brand (Bate, Dunne and Seven), Aussie Invasion (Miller, Murphy and Thorne), LWO (Mr. 450, Lince Dorado and Serpentico), among many others. They can even break the sexist barrier and allow women compete in this division. Just imagine Charlotte Flair, Tamina Snuka, Nia Jax and even Lana competing in the same division with men. That is the type of progress WWE needs. Economically, this will create new solid faces that will represent greater economic inputs for the company.
There are many ways that a Trios Division will help WWE improve. This is the missing piece of their puzzle that can catapult them to a whole new level. A Trios Division will be a win/win for them; because no matter what happen, they have the chance of innovate and that is best for business.
